There was a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico and predictions were dire for heavy storms and flooding in North Texas. Samuel was coming in by air and his flight was first cancelled then re-routed so he got to DFW at the last minute on Friday afternoon. Sandy brought him down to my radio show where we shot a nice video while he played. All the weather worries kept everyone at home for the gig at Poor David's Pub on Saturday night and I don't think we even got a drop of rain. There was a hurricane onstage but it was the good kind.
